The first week is taking out all refined sugar. Can you believe I did this on Halloween! Just shows how excited I am about it. I ready to start feeling good more of the time and not having so many sugar highs and lows. Here's what I ate today:
Breakfast:
1 serving of Malt o Meal
2 tsp local honey
1 piece of low sodium bacon
Water
Snack:
Mixed nuts
Coconut Water
Lunch:
6 inch Whole wheat turkey Sandwich
Handful of chips
Water
Snack:
Organic Peanut Butter (only ingredient, peanuts)
Celery
Dinner:
Half a Potato
Light Sour Cream
Ham
Broiled Broccoli > ps- I would eat that everyday
Water
As long as I kept a snack in me and water I was good all day. I didn't even need a nap! Which I usually take on a daily basis. I am hoping that I can keep with this and see how different I feel.
I worked out tonight after a day without sugar. I can honestly say I felt much better while exercising. I felt more in control and like I had more endurance.
I will check in from time to time on my blog. Wish me luck!
