I worked late last night on this:

De-cluttered.

Painted the cubbies white.

Rearranged.

Put up these hooks and wires to hold the girls art. (I was inspired by Emily)

Portland Zoo

Here is Emalee! We all drove down to meet her! She is my brother's girl. We love her!

Taking a break to listen to a funny story from mom.

Leaving Oregon. It was so green and beautiful there. I already miss seeing the mountains, falls, and rivers!

Multnomah Falls

We went to Portland this last weekend. The drive was so beautiful! Here's one of the waterfalls we stopped to see.

Kamryn was very excited to be out of the car!

Kamryn looks really sad right here. It's probably because she has pooped her pants in this picture and I left the diaper bag in the car................

Bryan's in the Limelight now!

Bryan's project has been featured! His project is the second one on the front page!! Check it out here!

"Virtual Technology and Design emphasizes the use of visual environments to help solve real world problems," said Bryan Foutch, a junior in VTD from Spokane, Wash. "For our particular project, we wanted to create interactive technologies aimed at education. Traditional teaching mediums are static and good for basic information, but when you factor in complex, simultaneous systems, you need interactive tools."

"A picture's worth 1,000 words," says Foutch. "We're creating interactive pictures that are dynamic and show cause and effect."

Nicole Featured My PHOTO!!

My photo was chosen to be featured on Nicole's Classes Front Page. I feel over joyed!! Thanks for the limelight Nicole!!

The assingment that we had for my photo was to pretend that we worked for Gerber. We had to create a shoot that could be used as an ad for them. If you can't read the text, Nicole said,"Kudos, Katelyn -- it really looks like it could be an ad for them."

A Surprise Visit!

Our good friend Camille and her daughter came to visit today! I was so happy and excited to see her! We had a great time visiting and taking pictures.

A Photographers Apron

On the second wedding I assisted Katie White I realized that we needed some sweet fanny packs to hold all of our stuff. I decided to make a photographers apron instead of sporting a hot pink fanny pack. It held my flash, batteries, SD cards, and lip gloss.

I looked out the window and what did I see?

A MOOSE!!




I opened Kamryn's window when I got her up this morning and saw the baby girl Moose!




Lauryn said, "The moose is standing by the rose bush eating leaves, it needs to be free with it's family just like Deigo says."

She has several different nick names.

They include, Brook, Brookie, Brookie Cookie, Cookie, Cook, and Cooks.

Ni Hao Kai-Lan Tent

Uncle Kurt got the girls this tent for Christmas. They play in it all the time.




Kamryn wasn't too excited about the idea.




They begged me to go "camping" with them. So I did. I took up the whole tent.

I found these funky CD-Rs and just had to have them! There are 10 different prints. I have been doing a lot more photography lately and have loved it! I have a spring special going on right now. Only $60 for a 1 hour photo shoot! If you are interested e-mail me!
