Lauryn's new backpack. I got the pattern from Martha Stewart's "Good Things For Kids" magazine. It has so many other fun crafts and activities. I added a little see through pocket, lauryn especially loves that touch.

oh! Lauryn!
What's so funny to me about her, is that this whole series of photos can be taken in one day! From top to bottom: 1- She was playing on her trike and fell on her head. Bryan got her a drink and stuffed her in the couch with her friends. It made it all better! 2-she loves being squished! 3- Bryan checked on lauryn before he went to bed and had to take a picture of her feet hanging out the end. She is in the 90th percentile for height. 4 and 5- These are just fun shots of her at lunch time! I love you lauryn!

Scrapbooking with Magazines
I've never really been one to scrapbook. Mainly because I really haven't had the money to. With Bryan in school I had to find a different way to scrapbook. My mom started giving me all her old magazines and I would tear out pages with good color. Here's some examples of what I use. Letters are perfect to use too! Above: I made several of these for family members for Christmas. They looked beautiful in a white frame.
One year, for Bryan's birthday I started a journal for him.
Here's some pages from it. It was a great gift that didn't cost me much.

Toddler Finger Foods! Fabulous!
I found this in Parents Magazine. I think it should magically appear when your child is ready for solids. When Lauryn was eating solids I felt like I was always giving her the same thing to eat! You can click on the image to enlarge it and then I suggest posting some where accessible in your kitchen! Like on the fridge! Good Luck!

Vintage Baby Quilt Kits!
My mom wanted me to find her a baby quilt kit online. I couldn't find anything that I actually liked until I ran over these extremely perfect quilts! It was just what we were looking for. We love making quilts for friends who are having babies but, the time to make them is hard to find. These quilts, I'm sure, will make it so much easier and enjoyable! They are made and designed by Kelly McCaleb. She is very creative and talented!
Here is her Etsy Shop link.
