The whole Dang Thing

I just got back from my moms house. I love visiting her! The girls love it too! Franny's favorite part is the heart cakes my mom makes in the morning. The heart cakes are heart shaped waffles! Himmy went down to Utah to visit his parents and I opted to skip the 13 hour drive with two kids. While he was gone my mom and I had a yard sale. The night before the yard sale my mom and I were up late pricing stuff. When we about to price the last item we started laughing so hard we were crying. The last item was my childhood bed. The sicker that my mom made for it read this,
The whole dang thing! We had a good laugh. Some other things were priced Free or free with any purchase. I don't know about you but I've never seen stuff priced that way at a yard sale. Thanks for being so creative mom! We made some good money but we were sure pooped after it was over. That weekend my mom and I actually got some sewing in. We made a super cute apron, which I will post later. Here is my cleaned up craft room! I am so excited to sew again!

Super Franny!

Franny loves Super Grover. Pretty much every day she asks me to put a dish towel on her as a cape. I needed my towels back so last night I made this. I love how it turned out! When I showed it to her, she said oh cute mom!

Here she comes to save the day! Super Franny!

TA DONE!

Well, it's almost done. I have been working on a little quilt for New York's First Birthday. I love how it turned out. My favorite part is the rick rack. My other favorite part is that Happy Birthday is spelled correctly. The night I was working on apliquing the letters I was so tired that I reversed the i and the r. Luckily my good friend was kind enough to tell me before I put the back on.
Happy 1st Birthday New York!

GO GREEN!

HAVING TROUBLE GETTING YOUR VEGGIES? We have been trying this. We make a fresh veggie tray about every other day. Every time I open the fridge I see this picture. It's so much easier to make the right choice. My 3 year old loves it too! She eats way to many vegetables. Our favoirte dip is light sour cream mixed with ranch dressing mix (dry in a packet). I water mine down with milk. Well, I guess I milk mine down with milk.
Happy Snacking!

Make your Own Pizza Bake

1-2 cans of pizza
1 box of your favorite noodles
1 chopped green bell pepper
1 cup of chopped mushrooms
3/4 cup chopped pepperoni
2 vine tomatoes chopped
Dash of garlic salt
1/2 cup of grated Italian cheese mix

1. Boil noodles. Drain and return to pot.
2. Add tomato sauce, veggies, and pepperoni. Mix well.
3. Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
4. Sprinkle top with garlic salt and cheese.
5. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted or it is warmed through. About 15 min.
6. Enjoy!

Have you seen those pizza bakes that pizza hut makes? (I'm a poet and I didn't even know it! ;) I wanted to make one with out all the grease! I've searched for a really good recipe but I came up with my own. I've made it several times and this is my favoirte way to make it. You can add and take away whatever you like in this recipe. If I have a busy day I'll prepare this in the morning and refrigerate it until dinner time. Be sure to add enough pizza sauce because when it's baked it tends to get dry. I add 2 cans of pizza sauce.
Want to make it healthier? Use whole grain pasta!
Enjoy! love, K
