Polka Dot Toddler Car Seat Cover

I made two of these this weekend. I got the pattern at Joann's for 1.99$. The pattern called for a yard and a half of quilted fabric. Quilted fabric is quite pricey so I made my own. I used a cheap muslin on the back, the cheapest batting I could find, and for the top I spent a little bit more on a print that I liked. I had to spray baste all three together and then machine quilt it. Then I could finally cut out the pattern. I love how they turned out.

Did I mention I found this car seat for $2 dollars at a yard sale?

Kamryn 9 Months

Time changes so much when you have children. It seems to go by so quickly. At this time in my life it is so important for me to be there for them. They have so much growing to do. I feel so blessed to have my three beautiful girls. They are my best friends.

Kamryn just turned 9 months.

No teeth yet, is that normal?

Her sisters take good care of her.

Uncle Chris Came to Visit

Yesterday Bryan's brother Chris came to see us. The girls cannot get enough of him. We did a photo shoot with him and you can see more photos here. Lauryn ran in for a few shots but mainly stood behind watching and picking blue flowers. Can you believe how green the grass is??! These are straight out of my camera!

Club House

Yesterday morning the girls were a bit too quiet. I went upstairs to see what they were up to. They had gotten into Kamryn's crib with her and made a "Club House". They were content for quite a while. It makes me to happy to see their creativity and how happy they are when they play together. Kamryn gets very upset if she isn't with her sisters. They are very comforting to her.
