A long Absence

I'm back! well, probably not for long. I am 6 weeks away from having little Brooklyn and who knows when I'll post again. I thought I would share this photo. My dad just sent it to me today! I love this photo! Great photography dad! We had such a great time in McCall this year, Lauryn especially.
What have we been up to? Bryan is studying for the DAT. He takes it on the 18th! It's crunch time! He has worked so hard. I can't wait to see how he does. We celebrated his 25th birthday on July 20th. Happy Birthday BABE! We had a quite but fun party at home. Lauryn and I let him sleep in while we went and got doughnuts! Yes, that is chocolate all over her face!

I am preparing for Brooklyn and trying to take care of Lauryn. My mom and sister came this last week. We reorganized, cleaned, and did 6 loads of laundry. THANK YOU! Since lauryn and brooklyn will be about 2 years and 2 weeks apart, we can reuse a lot of Lauryn's clothes! What a blessing! It feels good to have all the clothes sorted and put away! I still have things I need for baby b but we're working on it! I am also preparing a talk. I am speaking in another ward with a High Councilor. We are speaking on Fellowshipping. I really am excited. I'm just trying to figure out how to open my talk! I swear that's the hardest part! Any suggestions? Please no corny jokes! (bryan's got those covered!)

Lauryn is doing very good! We've been enjoying all the outdoor playtime. She loves loves loves to line things up. Yesterday evening we went for a walk and every time we passed a river rock bed she had to stop and make a rock line. I swear, if she were lost in a forest we would find her by her little rock trails! Here's an example of rock line, this one was a grandma Thompson's house.
She is learning a ton of new words. Heart, triangle, square, please, thank you, more, eat, amen, love you, happy, sad, and I'm sure I forgot some. She has such a fun personality!

We had Bryan's Uncle Scott, Aunt Sandra, and Sofie over for a Sunday afternoon! We had a great time. Dinner was sooo good! Sanrda and I made salads, the boys grilled some steaks, and Sandra made creme brule for dessert! Then we played spades. The play of the night was Sandra's bid of 8! Which She got! And I, being on her team got nill! So 180 point round! OH yeah!
