Knitting up a Storm

Last Christmas my mom taught me how to knit so I bought this beautiful book, Easy Baby Knits. During General Conference my mother helped me remember how to knit again since I hadn't done it since she last taught me. I've been working on this little baby scarf for New York. I am hoping to do one for Fanny and myself. It is so easy and relaxing. It's nice to have a project that is easy to put down and pick back up again. I took my knitting to the dentist while I was in the waiting room. I felt really old. But cool at the same time! ;) Knitting is cool. love, K
PS- I was inspired to post this from Jane Says.

k8! You are so skilled - definately my crafty inspiration. Sorry I didn't make it to the Thursday games, but I spent all weekend being sick, YUCK. We will have to try again to get together.

How awesome! I wanted to do more knitting/crocheting things when I became a mom, but then I realized that it's pretty hard to find patterns that look good on boys. Be glad you have girls! ;) But we'll see how this one in the Spring turns out...maybe we're getting our girl after all. Then I'll have to invest in a lot more yarn!

I went over to my Gma's today to learn how to cast on and cast off. I am taking a trip to Boise tomorrow for the weekend and I hope to get some major knitting in. You are a PRO. That scarf looks amazing. I'd love to browse that book. You, my lady, are an inspiration.
