Here's the start of our ABC Tree. We've done the letters B, C, L, and N. The girls love it!
PS- the books won't look like this for long.

eARTh day 2
I think I had more fun than the girls did yesterday. So, we started early this morning with more eARTh projects! Yesterday I stopped by our local CO-OP and pick up some things people were recycling. (I mainly grabbed the egg cartons) Egg cartons rock for holding paints.
We are working on an alphabet tree today. You can see me starting to paint it in the background. We are going to pick 3 letters every day to focus on.
I wanted to make a list of things we found around the house to help us with our eARTh project. (just in case you wanted to do some too)
-scraps of felt
-tissue paper
-paper towel rolls
-side walk chalk paint
-assorted paints (we use acrylic because that's what I had)
-wire
-clothes pins
-ribbon
-glue
-jars
-cardboard (we use empty cereal boxes)
-construction paper
-fabric scraps
-buttons
You can find a lot more stuff to use for your projects outside! Rocks, leaves, pine cones, etc.

eARTh friendly projects
We went to the library (as part of one of our new years goals) today. It's a pretty though thing for me to do with the three little girls. I think a stroller would help, if I had one. We worked everything out together. After we gathered 24 books in our bag I decided to look in the teacher's section. I found this wonderful art book for ages 2-6! Let's just say it SPARKED my creativity. When we got home with our new finds we gathered every thing we could use for our art projects. Here's what we did today!
I thought that brooklyn's paper towl was a work of art in it's self!
Brooklyn and Lauryn's caterpillars!

It's her brithday!
I can't believe this little girl is ONE! I will never forget the day that the sisters met for the first time. It melted my heart. Ever since Kamryn came into our family she has changed us for the better. We all can say that she is the happiest baby we have ever met. She does this funny/creepy laugh all the time. We all just throw our heads back and laugh too. And the cycles keeps on going.
Kamryn, we WHALEY love you!

2 Cups of Sugar
I find that I always bake on Sundays. It's become one of our family traditions. We decided to make homemade coconut cupcakes. As we got baking we realized we were short 2 cups of sugar so, we sent the girls to the neighbors house to get some. This was exactly what they were wearing.
Would you give them 2 cups of sugar?

Ikea-Seattle-And Back
This last weekend I got to go on a trip to Seattle with my bestie, Krystal. She and her husband just bought their first home and needed to furnish it. She rented a 2010 Chevy Suburban to take to Seattle to shop! She asked me to come with her to help with all the decision making. I was so happy to help and get away for a weekend!
(**extra extra long post**)
Here's a sketch I did for her closet. We had to make sure we got all the right parts!
We got so hungry while shopping there.

Packing the suburban.
We did it! We fit everything in!
Check out that receipt!
I really loved the art on this building. It was right next to the Value Village Seattle.
Have you ever been in a two story Target? This was our first time being in one! Who knew they had cart escalators?!
This truck was a BEAST! We managed to parallel park it a few times.
I bought this trendy flower headband. I am not one to usually wear trendy things. It was too cute to pass up. (PS- I permed my hair! I LOVE it)
Krystal and I!
