This years model came prepackaged with icing and 1 pound of candy. Someday the smell of fresh baked gingerbread will fill our house. As for now we like the kit you can buy at costco. (thanks mom!)
New York was happy with the results so we can rest easy. Here is what's left of Franny's creation. Ta Da!

Little miss New York's faces are the best EVER!!!I cannot wait to play with and squish that cute little gal! Franny, you crack me up with your silliness. Uncle J and I thought your singing, "I'm trying to be like Jesus" was so beautiful. We LOVED it!!! It looks like you guys made some fabulous treats and a lovely candy house...yum!
LOVE the house on the cake display! Can I steal that idea? Fresh gingerbread is nice, but never smooth and even like the Costco ones...simple and satisfying! That's the only way to go...just buy some Glade gingerbread spray to make it feel "real."
