Wishing I Could have been there!

I shed a tear when I woke up Saturday morning. Little miss Cookie woke up with a super high temperature. I ran her to the quick care and found she has strep throat. Dang. That meant that I couldn't be here-

I had been dreaming of this event for over a year now but instead I was at home nursing a sick baby back to health. She cried from 7am to 7pm. I tried everything to help her feel better. Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Popsicles. Gatorade. When I held her she wanted down and when I put her down she wanted up. She was so sick she didn't know what she wanted. I was so frustrated! At one point I just cried with her. When she saw the tears coming from my eyes she stopped to watch. Funny, that the only time she stopped crying was to watch me cry! So yes, I missed the best antiques show in the Inland Northwest to be with this sweet girl all day long. Cookie, you'll always be worth it to me! I love you!

Sorry K8.
I would've taken Lauren for you for sure.
Her and Masaru are like two peas in a pod.
I hope no one else gets strep.
Its one of the worst with an ear ache.

That is such a sweet picture of Cookie. Sorry that your weekend was so tough; it's one of the worst things - not having your kids feeling well.
