Brookie Smurf
She found a blue marker. Not sure how she colored her face so perfectly or why she did it. Maybe she wanted to blend in with the furniture.

Glitter Play-Dough
Recipe!
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup cooking salt
1 cup water
1 tablespoon cream of tartar
1 tablespoon cooking oil - To make is smell good, add a drops of your favorite essential oil!
Food coloring & glitter!
Mix the flour, salt, cream of tartar and water together. Turn the saucepan on a medium heat and stir until a large thick ball happens. Sit aside to cool. Once cool add the oil and food colouring - knead together on a floured board and work the glitter through.
I quadrupled the recipe and used my jam jars to hold the play dough! (it worked out since we've eaten all our jam!)

Face Routine
Cetaphil Face Wash: A Dermatologist told me that using a non abrasive skin cleanser everyday would clear up my skin. It defiantly works!
Work-Out Makeup All Day Wear: This foundation is 22$. It last me at least 6 months and it has spf in it!
Benefit Erase Paste: Can't go a day without putting this on in the morning! Takes those dark circles away! I found mine on ebay for 11$!!!!
Clinique Glow Powder: This stuff makes your face sparkle! The sparkle reflects light so it makes your skin appear more even. It is 23$ but last again, at least 6 months!
There you have it ladies!

Have any of you seen this? What did you think?
As far as the way our country handles meat, I think I'll be a vegetarian now. {Just don't think I'm totally ready for that jump} I am seriously thinking about cutting out beef and pork from our diet all together. {we never really eat pork anyway} I would love to be able to buy free range chicken but I just can't afford it at this time in my life. I think I will still eat eggs and fish.
My friends came over last night to do a recipe swap and we got to talking about the Word Of Wisdom. My friend asked, how often do you eat meat? Sparingly? I am pretty sure that my family and I eat meat at least twice a day. I think that changing to a couple days a week would be better.
Let me know what you think. I am not sure myself yet.
*Please be kind. I am not looking for a fight. I know this film has its lies. It is targeting the large corporations NOT the farmers. I support grass fed cattle and free range chicken.

No Car = Dance Party
Most days I spend without a car. We only have one and the hubs takes it to work. Which job I am so grateful for. So, I have to figure out how to keep myself from going insane since it's still winter and all 3 girls are at home still.
Check out one of my childhood friends keeps her stay at home wife life unpredictable and exciting! Go HERE! Oh and Move over Katy Perry!
We have the usual dance party's too! There's just something about it that makes all the reminders of daily life routine go away!

Happy 500th Post Foutch Coutch!
I can't believe it's been 4 YEARS since my very first post! I would LOVE to hear from my readers!
Who is out there? How did you find my blog? What's your blog? I want to follow!
I've started a little project called: 3 Little Books for 3 Little Girls
There's a book for each one of my daughters. The plan is to write down the things I find funny, sad, happy, etc. Even if it's one sentence! I regret the fact that I haven't kept a journal for a long time. Since it's the new year, no better time to start!
It snowed about 5 good inches this morning. I was shocked because yesterday we spent most of the day out in the sun. We are looking forward to a day in the house working on art projects. Sounds like a fun cozy day to me! XO- katelyn

MIA
Yes, I have been "Missing In Action" in the following areas:
-mother
-wife
-church calling
-chores
-friend
-photographer
-etc.
I have had the stomach flu for about 4 days now. I am so done with this illness! I am ready to move on! Having no energy to keep up with my 3 young daughters has been a nightmare. My wonderful husband has 2 jobs and 15 credits in his last semester till graduation. He hasn't been able to help much. However, when he has had time, he has been amazing.
I hope this finds all you readers out there in good health. There is nothing like a good case of the stomach flu to humble you a little more. Two nights ago after my fever broke, I was watching the movie A Little Princess. By the end I was in tears! Thinking I had gone mental, I thought I better get out of the house (since it had been days). How grateful I was to leave the house, grateful to not feel nausea!
Enough about me. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day!
