My 25th Birthday
On my 25th birthday my husband was in AZ> for a good cause at which I wish I could have been. His younger brother got married. I stayed with my mom. I couldn't imagine driving a total of 3,000 miles with 3 little girls. So, I spent my birthday away from my hubby.
Saturday night I was sitting on the couch with the girls watching up and the door bell rang at my moms house, then 4 of my bestest friends ever storm into the family room. I am screaming as I run to hug them. They drove all the way from Moscow to spend the eveing with me!
They first gave me a gift. It was more than I could have ever dreamed of! They got me a Fuji Mini Instax Polaroid. {I scream again!}
They took me to Olive Garden, Roller Skating, and out for shakes. I had the best time EVER> thanks girls. I LOVE YOU.

My blurb book is HERE!
I am SO happy I did this book. It is such a treasure to me and my family. To have our favorite moments documented. So see all the beautiful days we've had together. This book is 150 pages. It took me about 7 hours to make. Blurb makes the process pretty easy for us bloggers. You can upload your blog with their book making program. After you have your blog uploaded you need to replace all of your images with the original files or else they will print at a poor quality.
You can see more of my book here. And it's on the side bar of my blog too.

Missionaries!
We ran into the missionaries on campus the other day! And we just had to get a picture with them and our picture frame. Does any one know these two Elders?
PS- I love how Elder Horne held up his Book of Mormon.

Showed up at my door step this morning.
Holding 6 long stemed roses. For 6 wonderful years of marriage.
He also had a box of crayons he said he bought for the girls. He asked me to open it. Inside was, makeup! (hehehe) I've been out forever and was so excited me got me some!
You are my all dear. I love you!

Inspiration book
This is my book where I write all my ideas: I cut things out of magazines that catch my eye, then start doodling around the pictures ( just whatever comes to mind ). I highly recommend starting an idea book, It’s a great way to spark your creativity!

How to Create a Cheap Piece of Art
1. Print off 100 of your favorite photos. ( I chose 100 of my most recent photos. All these photos are from the last 2 months.)
2. Organize them by color. Pick the most dominate color in the photo.
3. Tape them up in which ever order you would like. I started with white, then to red, orange, yellow, green, blue, brown, and black. (you could do an entire wall of black and white too!)
4. You're done! Bam!
I was inpired to do this project by Cierra.
ps- one of these photos is a print by nicole hill. (the lipstick one on the left)

A new friend
I have a new friend, her name is Becky. She is amazing: Her home is filled with 6 beautiful kids. Her garden is home to berries, chickens, bees, cats, and dogs.
She invited me over to pick raspberries today, I was so happy. We picked bright red raspberries with buckets tied to our waists by old belts.
We talked to pass the time & saw that we weren't so different. We found that our struggles didn't define us, they shaped us.
My girls played with hers. I chatted with her 10 year old who just finished the same book as I, the Goose Girl.
Slushies ended the visit ( as did a little 80's music that blasted from my car ).
Now, time to make some freezer jam. Yum!
(here I am trying to drown all the ants, it worked.)

Super Pouf Pillows Save the Day!
Krystal and I found this tutorial and had to make some for ourselves! Here are the final products. Kamryn LOVES hers and the girls love theirs! They were done in an evening. I sized the gray and yellow one up to be much bigger than Kamryns.
(To make the gray one bigger, Krystal and I had to remember how to find the circumference of a circle...... we asked Bryan.)

Bedroom Updates
I thought I would share some photos of our recent bedroom updates. Here's Kamryn's room first. I found this beautiful picture frame at Ross. Cost: $4.99!
I also redid her lamp shade. JoAnn's has lamp shades that have a pattern on them. It was also sticky so I just had to press the fabric on. Then I hot glued this tiny edge on it. I really love it.
For Kamryn's birthday I made her a banner!
The only update for the girls room is, the number of carebears keeps multiplying. If I see one at a yard sale I ALWAYs pick it up. Has anyone seen a funshine carebear. It's the one thing Lauryn wants for her birthday and I can't seem to spot one! (I can find them online but everyone wants sooo much for them!)
Remember the pillow I made? I put it in my bedroom. I love it!
While I was at a yard sale I saw this vanity for FREE! I totally snatched it up! I really love it. I take more time for myself in the mornings and evenings.
